Garmin Echo 100 Problem at Higher speeds

Same issue on my 2013 2250 RCL. Depth and sonar picture are great till I hit about 10mph...then the last depth reading starts to flash and the sonar picture disappears. Sounds like it is a combo of transducer being parallel to water at speed and dropping it a bit to stay in the water to avoid the cavitation (air bubbles) that disrupts the signal. I'll try it and see how that goes. Thanks.
