Got a new Yamaha 150 SHO and am think about adding additional engine information at the helm. The engine has a NMEA port that i want to collect engine data using a compatible fishfinder like a Garmin 93SV. What are the costs and installation issues?
Good idea. I have the same engine and would be interested in following this project. Always wanted to upgrade to a large flat screen Garmin. My SXSB was equipped with the little striker 4 fish graph and the screen is just so small for my old eyes.
