Never seen a Bennington decked out like yours for the big water. Did you do a big cruise over time, or did you trailer and do various boating trips to each of the lakes? Pretty impressive getting out on that big water, but also a pretty impressive set up for doing so. Wow!

Howdy
Thanks for the complements, We typically boat out of Hammond Indiana harbor for our Lake Michigan excursions this last season we made overnight trips to Racine Wi ,Holland Mi ,Saugatuck Mi ,
South Haven
Several weekends New Buffalo, Michigan City . We boat up too Chicago harbors regularly for a Late lunch on the river attended a bears game & a concert by boat by by renting a slip in Burham Harbour
We boated every weekend it seems tis season had three Spring trips to The lake of the Ozarks we have done late fall also awesome colors & water to yourself
Our Lake Superior trip over Fourth of July
trailed up to Hancock Mi rented a Victorian house on the Canal we had a slip in Hancock & Copper Harbour
We travel around the Keeweenaw Peninsula both sides with stops in Lac Labelle & Copper Harbour on our loops just gorgeous views spent a night in Copper Harbour for their awesome fireworks. Extreme Fog banks can roll in which we did encounter woulda of been a turnabout without radar and a precharted route . We always per chart in advance our routes Then we boated over Marquette Mi spent the night in the morning boated to Muninsing where we had a slip to kayak picture rocks
Then back to home base Hancock slip.
We made a Petoskey & Mackinac Island trip we did test the Bennington limit on that trip. Put in Petoskey Bay Harbor marina stay Bay Harbor Inn three nights made daily excursions to other harbors in the area then boated to Mackinac Island from Petoskey had a 3 day slip reservation in Mackinac Island stayed @ Mission Point resort. Made daily cruises in the area. Day of our departure we were winded in stayed another night. Following day winded in & No rooms available everywhere completely booked. So we tucked up right behind a ferry which run over to Mackinac City reserved a slip & room and watch sum great fireworks right from our balcony. Next morning heading to back to Petoskey for truck & trailer. When we made the turn south of out of the Mackinac Straights not good got into seven to eight footers head on blew out out front gate so yaa know had a river running thru but did manage to do a temp hold on gate so with two 12 year olds , two labs and my fiancé onboard figure best to do a about face to Mackinac City Harbour git a driver to Petoskey. If by myself would done last 15 miles to Petoskey
Lake Erie trip we reserved a slip & accommodations in Cedar Point Resort which has a nice marina on-site
Made a couple excursions to Put in Bay & other areas. Coming back from Put in Bay at night got a little wild as Erie can blow up quickly

Rocketman356, that is one serious set up. Love it. Well done sir. How did you like the Copper country? The Portage canal is very cool and fun to cruise around on a boat.
Love the telescoping Radar mount. If I get a "arch" on the next boat, would love to put a radar up on top, but not sure they are stable enough to handle it. But who knows. Your pole is a fantastic idea.

Also love the enclosure. Very nice....

Keep up posted on your build and your travels.

Cheers
Todd

@Rocketman356 Would you be willing to do a thread about your telescoping set up? I have been looking at getting radar and flir added on our boat and your set up is a different path than I was thinking and would work nicely IMHO.

Nice set up.
