Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I love this Holiday. The house will be abuzz with family and the noise of our grandchildren. Our almost 5 year old granddaughter asked my wife to talk to God so that she can swim and go for a boat ride this weekend while they are down here. It must have turned out OK, since it is supposed to be 79 tomorrow, and 81 and sunny both Saturday & Sunday. Sorry, not trying to make anyone feel bad, but retiring in the Sunshine State is not such a bad deal if you enjoy boating and swimming.

Happy Thanksgiving all! We have a house full of relatives. I'm going to get up now, shower, help my wife with the turkey, and probably drink the rest of the day as my FIL steadily drives me crazy throughout the day.

Where do you boat in Florida? Looking to make a move further south in a few years and was wondering about the lake choices.

If I ever make it to FL the Harris Chain of lakes in Tavares is where I want to be. It is considered the hilly part of FL and with 60,000 acres of lakes/canals there is plenty to see. It is also the sea plane capital with a marina specifically built to accommodate sea planes.
