Was looking to have a 24 lxsba built and heard through the grapevine that 2026 is the last year for the l and lx series ? hate buy a brand new boat and have it not be a current model in the same year. anyone heard anything similar ?
I have not heard anything but then again I purchased a “G” a few years ago and last year purchased a “SX”. I believe both were discontinued shortly after I purchased. I focus more on the motor and possible discontinuation but that is just me as a former Evinrude Ficht owner.

I agree with Jack. Sure makes sense with where the new M series fits into the mix. Hopefully we will hear back from Bennington directly soon to have a definitive answer.
So, I would suggest there is very little issue with the L model going away from a purchase perspective - it is more of a marketing label than worrying about finding spare parts. The introduction of the M line was VERY CONFUSING. In some cases it had less than the L, in some it had more. The L was a perfect balance between the S and R. Both the L and M don't make sense. I see this year they call the M Premium Luxury vs the L is Upgraded Luxury (yet 2 of the L models cost SIGNIFICANTLY more than the M). It sounds like the marketing people are deciding things at end of a long happy hour, and have really hurt the brand marketing. Even the R and Q lines, described as Ultimate vs Pinnacle, feel like a party-sized BBQ smoker blowing that hot air in the wrong place. Bennington is THE Luxury Brand, so make the model marketing useful so consumers don't scratch their heads and ask WTF!!!
