I didn't know that family time could be fun until I met Jill and her extended family and we are blessed that the kids live close and choose to go to Canada. Soon, the year round sports crap for the littles will hit and they will have decisions to make.
We are enjoying what we have.
Got the pontoon on the lake Sunday afternoon (first time this year) after cleaning, waxing and checking the engine fluids. Everything is working like it should, (I love not having to fix old boats anymore). After making a couple long high speed runs, we started floating and were going to eat the dinner we had brought. Jill's mom called and suggested we look at weather radar. Told Jill, we are getting this thing on the trailer now. There was a mad dash at the boat ramps. The North bay ramp has 4 lanes and was flowing decently. There were 2 couples on lawn chairs watching. I asked if this was their Sunday evening entertainment and they all said YEP! We got the boat on and were not out of the parking lot when the wind and rain hit.
Boats in the driveway drying out so we can start loading for a 1 am house departure Saturday for the ferry on the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario. We haul the bulky items for 4 families in the boat.
