My dealer has a Heritage trailer on order for my 22SSRX Tritoon. Can anyone give me a close ballpark figure on what that will weigh? Trying to figure out my towing weight. Thanks!

I think 1500 lbs may be reasonable... Better let others chime in though.

The wildcard is gear. It can weigh a lot more than you think.

You should take the whole rig to a truck scale. Measure everything (truck, boat, trailer) then unhook your boat and trailer somewhere in the parking lot and weigh just the truck. Then subtract.

Any 1/2 ton will handle it fine. Might be able to get away with the explorer but it would be much better with a 1/2 ton truck or suv. I pull a 25r with a tundra and armada and neither have any issues

I finally heard back from Heritage...I was told its about 1,500 lbs for the trailer. I am now looking at a 2017 Nissan Armada to replace my Explorer. With 8,500 lbs of towing capacity, that should be good. Going to go test drive one tomorrow.

My armada actually handles my 25r better than my tundra you won’t have any issues
