Hi to all the old timers still posting here! Still got our 2012 SSL and loving it. We are empty nesters now, so no more teenagers tubing, skiing, and wakeboarding. We are now what I'd call Sunset Cruisers. We love going out at night (7-10pm or so, sometimes a lot later depending on the band playing at the lake bars).

There's an old saying that no one wishes they had less HP. Still true for me, but we mostly idle around coves at no wake speed anymore. I could get by with a 9.9, but like I said, I'm not trading the big motor.

Great to hear from you. We are partial empty nesters with just our youngest who will finish college next year. Keep enjoying those cruises! Gotta love relaxing time on the water.
