I just purchased a 2014 2250 GSR (one owner well maintained only 159 hrs)… horn worked first few times we had boat out, now not working. Seems like placement of the horn is the problem (under deck on starboard side where it can catch water). so is best solution to mount a new horn in the helm? Any suggestions on type of horn to get? Or should we just get a hand held air horn?

On my previous Bennington, under deck horn stopped working .I got a can of air and sprayed it in the horn until the water stopped coming out .Then I reversed the direction of the horn so the opening of the horn was facing the stern .
