I picked up my2018 21SLX a week ago. Checked all the lights to make sure they were working but didn’t keep them on for an extended time. Last evening I had the lights on for extended time and when I went to cover the boat with the playpen cover they were incredibly hot to the touch. If one of my little ones were to touch it it would definitely be painful. The accessory switch Also got really hot. The dealer said this is normal just wondering about others experience.

Bulbs get hot. Change them to leds.

I think they already are leds, mine are. Sorry, don't do much night boating to notice if they get hot.

A hint for replacing bulbs with leds. Use a red led for port side and green for starboard, same color as the lens. There is a scientific reason for this.

Then which lights are you referring to? If you're talking about the docking lights then yes, they get hot. You can swap them out for leds also.
