How to get power to the helm for amp?

I have a swing back and want to upgrade to add an amp. How do I fish the 4 gauge from the battery to the helm?

Glow rods or fish tape works. I use a combo of both. Done it a few times now. First time was in the water, its doable but not fun

Did you get it through the existing grommet that the wires were already going through or did you have to just find another way? Do you know if the 4 gauge wires have to be in a grommet or can they be exposed?

So when I did mine I made an assembly in a wire loom. I wanted it to be somewhat protected.
