Ignition power 10A fuse under the dash

Just a note. Recently lost the gauges and in troubleshooting discovered that the 10A fuse on the ignition power wire going to the gauge cluster is on a single wire that hangs in a loop with the fuse holder at the bottom of the loop. Perfect storm there in that rain water getting around the throttle/shift box area dripped down the wire and filled the little fuse holder up with water. Corroded it enough to stop working after two years.....we have a 2024 model. I ended up zip tying it so the fuse holder is not at the bottom of the loop. Little things will always get you in the marine environment.

Yup, good catch! And those problems only get more interesting. On one our boats (don't remember which one), the corrosion was bad enough in the fuse block that I had to move one of the fuses (and wires) to an open position.
