Well, I have been waiting to inform the forum that by the end of last summer I was infected with Pads. I received my 2016 2275 GL SPS Yamaha 200 in June of this year and put it for sale in September. I enjoyed the SPS 200 Yamaha so much especially after the Power Assit was installed that I wanted the ESP with a 300hp. I will probably purchase a 23 GCW Yamaha 300. My current boat has had some interest by some buyers but I still have some warranty work to be completed. Hope to have it sold by March or earlier and get new boat ordered. Craziest thing I have ever done but I am committed. If I would taken more time last May, I probably would have done this back then. I thought you would all enjoy this during the winter yearning for spring time.

Congrats and welcome to the club within the club!

WOW, Ray! You are living the dream!

May I make a suggestion? Since you are going the full ESP with this next boat, dig up some more jars of bills from the back yard and spring for the 350. Seriously, have I ever lead your astray? Don't stop at 300, Alice might never forgive you!

350 or stay on the porch! ;-)

when Alice sees the 25% loss from selling a four month old boat and the additional $10k for the new one he may end up strapped to the motor.

Might want to run that boat for a couple of years or find something previously owned.

Very aware of the financial implications. Fortunately, I paid cash for the current boat and I am getting a very good response at 10% off because I got very good reduction off of MSRP originally.  I will make it work and my wife is supportive as I am smart financially. This will cost some money but this is what I love and this will be my last boat.

What is the price and the price difference between a 300 and 350?!?!?

Hey Ray! I am serious about the 350.

Does the big Yammy have internal power steering? I'm guessing so. Does that mean you can skip the electric assist this time around.

Mine doesn't but it certainly isn't an issue.  I love my F350, motor definitely rocks.  And getting the extended warranty included is icing on the cake.  Very, very happy with the motor.

To quote our president elect- WRONG.

I sold mine after 4 months of use and only lost my sales tax.

Congrats on puling the trigger -- I'm sure your new purchase will be great!

What he said. Took my all of a month to sell mine and I got exactly what I was asking. She almost sold herself.

Congratulations.  Sounds like you made out well on the sale of your old "new" boat, and can get the next "new" boat of your dreams.

I see a couple of you have sold your boat for about what you originally paid.  I have seen a nice looking Benny on Craigslist back home in NY, similar to mine, and have watched it languish there for many months which makes me think I could not get what I paid for my 2012

I sold a 2003 Bennington that I purchased in 2002 and sold it on Labor Day for 75% of what the purchase price was. Not bad for a 14 year old boat. Ps I ordered a new Bennington.

I know of two used Benningtons that I would love to trade up to but am trying to hold off now as this is our first year as snowbirds in Florida and I want to see what the weather is like to decide if I should own boats in each location.   Can't spend the money on the upgrade in NY and buy a boat for FL

First world problems! LOL
