Has anyone received a nonrenewal notice like this from Progressive?
"The structural hull design or propulsion system of the 2026 Bennington Marine 18 S Series is not acceptable in our Boat program."
 
I have progressive, I have not . (Yet).
 
I have not either. I would contact Progressive for more info.
 
Is it electric propulsion?
 
I spoke to my agent the other day, she has heard nothing about it .
 
I have Progressive as well on a 2024 L series and haven't heard anything. just renewed a couple months ago.

Having some background in the industry, I'd recommend calling. unlike cars where the VIN encodes every detail about the vehicle being covered, boat are essentially all manual, and the way the info was entered about your boat could just be in the wrong field and makes it look like the boat isn't meeting standards for how they rate a policy. Probably a simple mistake that can be corrected, especially on a new model...

unless there's some sort of crazy safety recall.....
 
I think Andy, is on to something with the electric motor comment
