We just purchased older tritoon, 2001 with a 350 Merc. Boat US tells me there is no such thing as inboard on this year, that it has to have been repowered. Not to our knowldge.

Years ago we bought a new one in 2002 with a 305, so im very confused. Anyone know anything to help?

Lol yes and no. Super nice guy. All he could say was that it could have been built that way but no definite order. He said I would have to get an affirmation from a dealer. So I’m still kinda in the same spot. I’m gonna see what I can do with the engine number. I’m wondering if they have told me wrong, ‍‍. I just don’t understand people these days.

It’d have been for specifics on the boat. If you call with your Hull ID they should be able to look up most details on your boat from its original order/construction/purchase.
