Taking a month to get home from Anna Maria Island Fla
I'm driving the Class A Motorhome and the wife is pulling the boat with pick up truck.
Just set up at Lake Lanier staying at Duckett Mill Campground on the water for 1 week.

2nd Stop is Lake Hartwell S.C for (1) Week

3rd Stop is Norris Lake TN for (2) Week

Ending up on Lake Erie where we Sandusky where we stay all summer.

Any suggestion for food/fun and site seeing would be nice.

Weather is not warm but still going to log a few hours of boating.

Thanks

Have a safe trip!!! We are going to Sarasota, Lido Beach and Anna Maria island on the 16th of April. What are your suggestions for us?!?

Sounds like an awesome trip. While at Hartwell cruise into Harbor Light Marina @ try out Tilleys Tiki Bar & Grill for good food. Limited on operating hours right now so check their site out before cruising by there.

Another great place for a weekday lunch & dinner on Friday nights is 211 Main in downtown Lavonia GA. In addition to excellent food they make fantastic baked goods & frozen to go casseroles.

Also, not sure where y’all are staying while you‘re here but we cruised over to this island last Fall and it was an awesome time.

Have a safe & fun trip!

Thanks for the Hartwell suggestions and will take all sound like places I would enjoy.

Our Lake Hartwell RV Spot is at
Big Water Marina and Campground
320 Big Water Rd, Starr, SC 29684

The little bar/outdoor dining area at Big Water is fun. Ride over to the Local (by water) on Wednesday night. Not sure when it starts or if it’s year round but they have 5$ burger night and karaoke. In the summer it’s usually pretty interesting. The best restaurant on the lake is The Galley at Portman marina. They have been closed since covid and took the time to renovate. Not sure when they’ll open back up. I’ll be there this weekend and if open will let you know. Good suggestions above ie the island and Tillys. Also ride up to Clemson and check out the campus. You can see the stadium from the water so some think that’s cool. There is a city dock you can dock at and walk around campus. Nice little cafe/grill at Clemson marina we go to often. Called Clemson grill. Above Clemson the lake splits into the keowee river (to the left as you head north)and 12 mile creek. The water is high enough (maybe too high for some of the bridges) that running all the way up the keowee river to the underside of the damn at lake keowee is possible. It’s a pretty neat little ride. Like a scenic little river. Maybe 30 yards wide in some areas. Very little houses. Lots of wildlife. Have a great trip.

Thanks - It 39 and blowing wind today so boat is staying on Trailor
This campground has ramps but no docking
Contacted a few marinas on Lake Lanier and totally book for any short term dock.
Will look for another RV Spot or might come up to Lake Hartwell earlier and take you up on all the suggestions.

It super pretty spot on a finger with the lake on both side of the RV, just wish had dock space at park.

That’s gorgeous. Will be a nice time.

Hang in there. Weather to be greatly improved after tomorrow.

Not sure what your docking situation is setup to be at Hartwell but you’re welcome to tie up at ours if you need to. We are on the GA side really close to Harbor Light Marina (where the Tugaloo River crosses under 85). It‘s a fair distance from Starr but you’re more than welcome & BigD is right, weather around here will improving over the next few days.
