I've got a Starcraft pontoon that has a slight bend in the side of one toon--from 28 years hanging in a sling.
For my new Bennington, I built a 12' x 18' rack out of 4" channel steel and mounted two 2x8's flat under each toon. It's held up by 5/16" steel cables going to an Ace 3/4 hp hoist and 2" pipe mounted crossways on bearings.
A rack is the best way to hang a pontoon/tritoon boat from a boathouse.
