M Line

I can never resist a new build! I was disappointed that again Bennington invested very little attention to ensure their build site made sense and contained useful information. I understand their business model is to connect buyers to dealers, but their website should provide a reasonable level of accuracy, clarity, and information.

  1. The Model summary order suggests the M is above the L Series, while the build section reflects the opposite, though pricing and features confirm the higher starting point for the M (S,L,M,Q,R vs S,L,M,R,Q vs S,M,L,R,Q). ??
  2. The M Model lengths are wrong and not in the right order. It only provided me the 25', not the 26' option, then return 0 models. Leaving length blank fixed this.
  3. Bolster seat was not available with the M Model, I assume this is due to defaulting to the raised helm, but could did not confirm.
  4. There is a NEW RETRACTABLE KEEP RAIL, I can't wait to see that! Not available on the L or LX model?
  5. An ESP Plus was not available on the M Build, and the ESP referenced CG Fuel. The only reference I could find was "Center of Gravity". The ESP was still available with the L Model!?
  6. 73 and 116 gallon fuel tanks available - WOW! Not available with L.
  7. The Simrad was replaced with a Vivid UX Touch, but when selecting the 7" model, it reverted to a Simrad - confusing.
  8. There is a new Anchor Storage, but not available with the Bow table - so that must be the location.
  9. The manual double Bimini is back!
  10. New Reinforced Bow Rails, again no description.
  11. The LX model is no longer available other than with the Sport Arch. Disappointing.
  12. My 26LX in 2021 was $116K, a similar L series build is now $149K, and a similar M series build is $162K. I did not have the time to reconcile the features......and $13K price variance with the L build, or $44K variance with the M build.
Can't wait for the new catalog to explore the new features!!!!

It seems like it's not meant to be placed in a certain location of the hierarchy. Some things appear similar to the S (like vinyl seats), while the Luxe option package emulate opulence, and then plenty of fresh ideas thrown in that are exclusive to the M series.
Like vehicles have cars, trucks, SUVs & crossovers...this appears to be the crossover of the Bennington pontoon line? I dunno, that's probably not the best analogy.

I believe Bennington already had lines that covered all levels. Will see in person at dealer showroom soon
If you could PLEASE get pictures of the new retractable keep rail, that would be wonderful. I found a lot of pictures of the New M - Wow, they have introduced some fancy updates! Definitely a cut above the L after exploring!
