Looking for advise on ways to repair small scratches/scuffs in the Veneto vinyl used in the M series pontoons. Love the material feel but it gets small scuffs and scratches in it almost just by breathing on it. We have the Modesto Brown color so I think that makes it even worse to see them. Sorry tried to find a picture I took before storing it for the winter but can't find it yet so nothing to show. Just hoping someone with that material has figured out a good solution. Web searches and searches on the forum didn't yield any results. Didn't want to start trying standard vinyl repair kits since it doesn't seem like it is the same material construction. Sent an inquiry to Bennington and waiting for a response from them. Thanks in advance for any solutions if you are familiar with the Veneto material!

If you would like to call them here is their number 888 906 2628.
Also they have lost some employees recently, it may be taking longer to reply .

Wow, your experience with the veneto vinyl doesn't sound encouraging. I don't have any advice to offer, I'm just commenting as I ordered a 2026 RX25 a couple months ago and apparently Bennington is phasing out the simtex vinyl and going to veneto across all the lines.I had experience with the simtex on my 2018 R23 and scuff/scratch resistance wasn't bad although cleanup of stains was a bit difficult. The dealer gave me the choice to still order with simtex as they aren't completely out of it yet. I posted a couple months ago soliciting any comments on the veneto vinyl scratch/scuff resistance as we will have grand-dogs that are sometimes hard to control but didn't really get any feedback. I ended up ordering veneto. I hope I didn't make the wrong decision.

We had Simtex on our previous Benny and it held up great for sure. This new Veneto fabric has a much better feel. Maybe we just got a bad roll of fabric. So far in ours if you lightly catch it with a fingernail it leaves a noticeable scratch. Never had anything like that with Simtex. I’m going to give Bennington a call and if they have any recommendations on repair options, I’ll post it back here. Enjoy your new toon when it arrives!
