Mooring cover repair

I punched hole in the mooring cover. Any suggestions on fixing it.

Is there an iron on patch or something like that. The hole is 1x2inches

A canvas shop could sew a patch on it and it would be stronger than a stick-on.

I put it on today. It is clear and applied easily. Seems to be a good product. I will update after a few weeks of removing the cover.

So far so good. I have had the cover off 4 times. No signs of the tape releasing. What I don't know is how long it will last. The boat is kept in a shed so the sun and the rain are not hitting it.

I put it on today. It is clear and applied easily. Seems to be a good product. I will update after a few weeks of removing the cover.
