Any ideas on the best time to approach my dealer about upgrading my motor? It will only have one year on it, probably about 40-50 hours at the end of the season. Should I do it now in the middle of the season, end of boating season, middle of winter, boat shows? I am sure yamaha must have an incentive at some point. I would be upgrading my vmax sho.

Upgrade from the 225 SHO to what? The 250 SHO?

Yes. I know it doesn't make a ton of sense... But if the price is reasonable, it would be worth it to me. The boat is perfect for us otherwise, and that would be the only change I would make.

Wow. That will be a very expensive 2 mph! But if that's what it takes to make you love your WHOLE boat then giver!

Yeah, it would probably be better if I wanted a different model (Full blown PADS), but i do like our layout.

Maybe these guys could make it about 275+ under the cowl for a lot less money - Simon Motorsports

Then just get a new HP decal, maybe 115, just to sand bag a bit  B)

I've considered it, but then the warranty is likely voided. Any other ideas?
