I recently picked up a 2019 sx22 with a front seat that can be moved from the front gate area to other spots, my question is has anyone moved it to the side and attached it some how?

I had one on my 2014 RCW SA . Since we used the bow gate for boarding we moved it to the port gate . I never attached to anything, and it never moved , my wife used it as a foot rest.

Thank you, that's where I was thinking of putting mine but didn't know if it would move around. I was thinking of putting a bolt or pin through to the next seat that could be easily removed if needed

Except when I sold that boat the permanent seats were a bit more faded.

I kept it covered when not it use ,but you will have some fade . I explained the slight difference to the buyer he didn't mind . Actually if I hadn't bought it up,he might not have noticed at the time of purchase.

My RCW , I had a 150 Mercury.
It was under powered ,long story .

You're Welcome.
It was my fault ,that I thought
it was under powered.
That was a very heavy boat and the weight of the arch is like adding 2 more adults every time out . Max HP capacity , on that boat at the time was 200.

Side note on your purchase. Did you transfer the balance of the warranty at an authorized Bennington dealer?

I did on the engine… But didn’t realize there was anything on the vessel itself?

Talk to a Bennington dealer, there is No Charge to transfer that warranty.
You can do a search in the upper right corner for warranty statement. You can read the details there.

You're Welcome.
If you dont find it ,I'll post it here tomorrow.

We have the bow filler seat for our 2017 24’ SSBXP. In the S models, it is not totally unusual for the filler seat to sit a little loose and move slightly. Since we really never needed it for extra seating, ours sits in our garage as well. Also like Jack, our regular seats have faded over time even though we keep it covered. As a result, our spare seat still looks tan, whereas our fixed boat seats have a tan’ish-cream look to them in comparison now.

Glad to hear you are getting your warranty transferred over. Enjoy your new boat.
