muskrat - non- love

How bad is the damage?

I hope the damage is not too bad. We put up mesh guards at the various drain areas to keep these little critters out. Good to know another trick for keeping them at bay for others. Who’d of thought, blue toilet bowl cleaner disks.

I bet some adolescent muskrats will eat them. Dumb human kids were eating tide pods not too long ago...

Noticed that a muskrat was using my transom for his foo supply. One of those blue toilet tank pucks that keep the toilet bowl clean did the trick. He doesn't like blue water.
You probably have the cleanest, deodorized, sweetest smelling transom on this forum! Ha! Muskrat free too!

No damage, caught the problem before any damage.
We've had members on here that have had some serious muskrat chewing wires damage. Are your transducer wire and other wires running to the engine wrapped or protected somehow?!?

Other owners on our lake have had some damage so when I saw the extra vegetation I took action. I also have a trap set but haven't caught the little bastard yet. No protection but proactive!
