My son and his buddies wanted to paint his canoe from solid green to camouflage for the upcoming waterfowl season here in Michigan in a couple of local marshes.
So I dusted off all my stencils from when I did our Lund Center console boat a few years ago and got 8 cans of various tan's, brown's, green's, and black. Turned out well. Should blend in well in the marsh this coming weekend.
As a side note, I bought the lund as just a hull which was a left over new hull and sourced / installed all the gauges, engine (70hp Johnson), hyd jack plate, Minn Kota trolling motor, electronics (GPS and separate side scanning fish finde), and of course the custom camo paint. Went to Michaels and bought plastic leaves / grass to use them as stencils while hitting them with various colors of spray paint.
