My Weekend Project

Two coats rolled is giving you the heaviest coverage. If that's what you're after but you're unhappy with the texture of the deck, follow that second rolled coat with a light brushing.

Like the texture of the 2 coats rolled

I just applied the first coat to the dock.

The Restore 10x is unbelievably thick.

We chose the Lagoon color Blue.

Great coverage on all horizontal boarding

Will be applying second coat tomorrow

I have been told that 8 hour dry time will be good

I will let you know tomorrow if dried completely for adding second coat.

Had to remove deck to power wash and stain.

Didn't want to contaminate the lake with stain

Though it looks great on dock not sure if I will be doing the decks with Restore.

Will post pics after second coat and placing back on water

Just finished the second coat of Restore

Allowing it to dry before placing back on the water

I was thinking of doing the sides

BUT

The dock is extremely heavy

All I can say is the dock is BLUE BLUE BLUE

LOL

Post some pix!

Are you going to be able to see it in the water ?

I didn't want to leave you hanging

I was thinking about doing regular paint or stain on the sides

Thinking really bright white for night

Remember I have never claimed to be a contractor

So be nice (lol)

Will take some closer pics tomorrow to show the texture of Restore 10x

It is thick and you can really feel the grit if you touch the product when applying

It does clean off better than paint from the skin

I am thinking about painting the sides white, yellow or orange

Yellow is appealing due to the kids school colors

I should of mentioned I like birght colors

That was why we wanted the red Bennington but had to get BLUE

I have to say the lack of comments has me worried

It sure is blue! I'm looking forward to the close up shots as well.

Andy

Thank you

I will take more pics tomorrow

Are you good with Yellow for the sides???

Have to ask right ?

I should say for the little area covered it took approx 7 1/4 Gallons of product for the two coats

Cost was 85.00 for 4 gallon

Bought two containers

Texture Roller

4.97

I had the extender and roller attachment

Total Cost of Project  $175.00 US Approx. plus tax

"Maize" sides with a big maize block M on the top. Go Blue! (Tho not doing well lately)

I had an uncle who was a big Pitt fan - couldn't stand Penn State, except when they beat Michigan.

Like your Uncle

I am not a fan of Penn State

Have always loved Pitt since the days of Dorsett

That is why I am thinking Blue with Yellow sides

Pittsburgh...........

My wife just did a set of stairs with the "Restore" product and it came out fantastic! She even debated putting the 2nd coat on because the 1st one was so thick and coverage was complete. But she waited 24 hrs. and the 2nd coat made it look even better!!!!!!!! Recommend the product! A gallon at Lowes cost $24..........and of course you have to get the nappy roller............

BigKahuna

I am happy with the coverage

The product is doing what they claimed it would

I will probably not use on my decks

But for the dock it is perfect

I debated placing 2 coats on as well

While doing the second coat I was happy I did, it made a difference

Looks good Chuck .

I would definitely  use a contrasting color on the sides.

When summer arrives you may not  see that blue  against the water .

Florescent Yellow ?
