dibs on co captain! I work from home so that may be weird if I'm just walking around the house with my PFD on. Neighbors already think I'm crazy, that will be the icing on the cake.

I'm not sure about what your definition of "work" is... But rodeo'ing is a week of partying, which can be "work". 
And I always practice safe pool play.

Nice! My Irish Setter lays no more than 6' away from me at any time while I work. He's beyond old for swimming and life jackets any more, though he did jump right off the dock the other day while I was working on the boat.
