Dealers for Lillipad, lippert and Docker Ladder say they. won’t fit on my boat. I will attach a picture of the back of the boat

My husband has neuropathy issues which makes climbing up the steps hard.

Anyone have a solution for 2008 Bennington 2577?

There have been a few members that have installed the lilypad ladder on their Bennington. Hopefully they will see this and respond.

I see the issue is that you have very little deck. You are going to need a fabrication shop to customize the install.

I have a 2009 2577RFI. My original ladder looked exactly like your’s. It was made by Bearcat Industries. I purchased a ladder for them that had four steps that helped tremendously. It was a factory second, that had a small blemish on it. This was just two years ago, so I would do a search, give them measurements and pictures, and I’m confident they can get you fixed up.

Here is a link to the Lillipad site .

Another company offers simiular , only in black .

I know you mentioned that your husband has neuropathy. Is the issue not having enough steps that go deeper in the water so it would make it easier for him to get on the ladder and climb up or is it something else?!? The reason why I ask is that I've had a hip replaced and more recently a knee replaced. My ladder was originally 4 steps but I decided to "add" another step to make it easier for me to get on the ladder in the water and climb up! I got a marine tig welder to fabricate a full step and weld it on to the existing ladder. I now have a 5 step ladder that extends 10/11 inches deeper into the water....Pics if you'd like to see it!

Thanks to all who replied. Many places said they could not put the lily pad ladder on my boat but I found someone who tried and it looks great. Unfortunately Kentucky is in a drought and we have not been able to try it out yet. Pic attached.
