I picked up our new boat this weekend. We live in WV, but we bought the boat last year from a great dealer in GA. He stored it during the winter until the lakes opened in WV. The GA dealer was great to work with from start to finish. Details are: 2021 SX 21 with the L-Bench layout, Yamaha 115, Seastar Hydraulic steering, Express Toon Package, Single Battery Switch, LED Speakers and LED cup holders. Smokey Granite with Rossa Red accent color. The trailer is a Road King, galvanized, dual axles and disk brakes on the front axle.

I have a 2016 F150 with the 5.0 V8. I was definitely worried about towing the boat 8 hours back from GA to WV. I can say the truck did great and I can’t say enough about how good the Road King trailer handled behind the truck. Definitely worth the extra money for it.

I always enjoy it when people post pictures, so here are a few of our new boat.

Very nice boat.
enjoy!

Looks great! Congrats! We almost bought a boat from the Great Outdoors dealer in Lavalette, WV. We called up there and talked to a salesman and told her we were going to make the trip up from N.C. to test drive a Bennington we saw online. She told me that we weren't able to test drive the boat because the lake near the dealership had a 10 HP limit and there wasn't anywhere else to test drive one. So we wasn't going to drive the 5 hrs. if we couldn't test drive it......

Congrats!!!

Also, special thanks to SemperFi for the video about the cover. It only took us about 10 minutes putting on the cover our first time, thanks to the video. I’m sure we will get faster, but it was really easy.

Big Kahuna you are correct about the water testing. There is a small lake close to them with a 10hp limit. They own that marina. It is a nice setup for sales. The Great Outdoors folks are really nice, but they would hardly move on price for me. Basically, with this environment they don’t need to lower prices and I get it. They just made me go to GA, which was fun.

I understand they are a large volume Bennington dealer but don't understand how if you aren't able to test drive it. If we're interested in a boat and going to spend that much money on it.......We're going to drive it first!!!

Great choice. We have the same boat and chose that interior layout because the space to store/use port-a-potty is a high priority for my crew. With a 150, mine's a little hot rod. Top end is 43 with just me and the top stowed.

Congratulations! Looks very nice. I love the color combo, especially with the enterior splash of red in the seating to bring in the outside ascent strip and the bimini fabric color. Nice color coordination!
