Took the new toon out for its first time, and looks like the lower unit is not sealed properly. There was milky oil coming from where the lower unit attached to the mid motor housing. The motor is a Mercury 150 four stroke with less than 3 hours on it. I'm sure it can be fixed, but I hope this is not a sign of more bad things to come. BTW, I was more than impressed with the handling of out new 22 scwx.

Wow, that bites, but like you said it's under warranty.

The 150 FourStroke motor has really worked out well since it came out.  They'll fix it under warranty.

I'd just suggest you change the lower unit fluid in 20 hrs. looking for any further contamination.  3 hrs. on the lower unit with a seal leak shouldn't cause any long term problem.

I have no doubt it will be alright. I was very impressed with the power and performance of the motor. I have been tooning on a 21 Suntracker PB with 60 hp to our new toon with SPS and 150. Night and day difference.
