We recently ordered a Bennington GL2274 in the fall of 2015.  We picked the "Soft Touch Ivory Classic Vinyl" for the interior upholstery.  When we received our boat, Bennington had apparently changed the material and it is not "soft touch."  Anyone else experiencing this problem?
 
For those that ordered 2016 models in 2015, what upholstrey did you pick and did you have a book to pick them from?
 
I initially ordered my boat on July 21st (2015).  I originally chose the interior based on the swatches the dealer had.  About 3 weeks after the order, my dealer told me they changed the interior options and the combination I chose was no longer available.  I went back to the dealer to repick the interior but they still only had the old swatches.  So, in a sense I ordered the interior blind as I only had the web page to choose from.  To say the least, I was a little nervous waiting for the boat to arrive.  When it came in I was very happy with the way the interior came out.  I was afraid it would be funky of some sort but Bennington did a great and classy job on it.

From your signature, it looks like you picked Napa Beige/Tuscan Dune.  Both of those are the soft touch vinyl.  The Ivory Classic  and Glacier White have changed and is NOT soft touch vinyl

and we don't like it.  I guess you were really lucky.  For us, we were never informed that there was going to be a change.  It was just made!

We have/are bringing this up with our sales person who spoke to a Bennington rep.   So far the responses have been "The Bennington rep says they continue to update their materials to the best materials" and our sales person said "I'm not sure what Bennington is going to do for you."

I didn't realize that the other colors weren't soft touch.  We were only informed by the dealer of the changes when the factory itself kicked the order back.  I haven't seen the Glacier White in person but I have seen the soft touch Ivory on a 2015 boat.  I'll have to stop by the dealer as I'm curious now what the non soft touch vinyl looks (feels) like.

Have you spoke with your dealer ?

If so what was his reply ?
