What a huge turning point in the Lions franchise. Nobody picked them to win against Lamar and the Ravens. I sure wish GM Illitch would have put the money into the Tigers like the Fords did for the Lions the last couple of years.

Detroit Tigers will be the next ESPN 30 for 30 on the collapse of the best team in the AL to miss the playoffs

Ravens may have been stunned ,but I wasnt .
Tigers , Harris has to go .After all those deadline pitcher trades they gave up nothing and got nothing .
You can use all the metrics you want .I still havent seen a metric on Heart & Desire !
I also heard Sunday that Verlander ,wanted to come back at the deadline .

Jack, spot on. Harris is awful. I'm probably in the minority, but I'm over Hinch and his micromanagement style / metrics. Sunday was the last straw for being down 3-0, 2 runners on base and 2 outs in the 8th and he pinch hits Trey Sweeny. Mind you that Trey is hitting .197 AND is 0.97 in his 10. WTH???? After the game, it was because he "felt" the matchup was right.

I stopped watching the tigers after the trade deadline .
Bill Freehan's family still lives in our area . I ran into his son in law at a store about 2 years ago . They have a suite at Comerica and talk to some in the organization . He told me that Hinch is not at all fond of ( Im being polite ) Detroit and the only reason he took the job is because it was the only one he was offered coming back from suspension . Unfortunatley ,time to clean house ,Again .
I turned it on for a minute last night after a friend called me and told me Skubal hit David Fry in the face .

Ugh... Scoobs went to see Fry aftewards and the first thing Fry said was, I knew I had trouble hitting off you but I sure found out I can't bunt off you either. Pretty classy thing to say.

Yeah, like the Red Wings, we'll be rebuilding this team for decade's to come. Sadly they are owned by the same family who doesn't care. Even the Fords have no figured it out it takes money to contend.

As bad as they have gotten since July it has to be a tank .

Celebrity showed the Primetime game on the ship in the middle of the Caribbean! Lot of Lions fans onboard! I know because they booed when I wore a Commanders polo shirt to dinner one night! Ha!
