I was just in Canada last week .
Yes you can buy in the US and take back to Canada .Derrick has done it ( more than once )

Actually, all 3 of mine were bought from West Hawk Marine, great people to work with, they are right by the Manitoba / Ontario border. Basically on the way to Kenora.

kenora is a beautiful area. It was amazing in June but to much winter for me to live there.
