Pretty spectacular looking machine you have there. Don't mind the little bugs that you find wrong. Make a punch list for the end of the season and enjoy the hell out of the boat. Good luck!

I know that my Yamaha is supposedly rock solid , but that outboard is simply gorgeous compared my grey-blue power plant. Congrats!!
Thanks for the feedback on the prop. The dealer originally told me that the prop would be determined using a spread sheet type formula. Based upon what I've read in various posts on this forum, I was really surprised to see a 13p on it. I'll keep you posted as to what they tell me.
My dealer told me the goal is to prop an engine where it runs as close to the top RPM as possible, which in my case is 6500. I don't remember the exact diameter but it was over 15. So the question seems to be whether I just accept the fact that I have a good hole-shot but will never see anything over 40 mph or do I see if they will swap for a 14 or 15p for a higher top end. Or maybe I should have spent the extra $2.5K and gotten a 300 hp!
And yes, the dealer said my gas cap should have a chain and he ordered one.
Actually, the full throttle range is spec'd as 5800-6400rpm, not 6500. The standard Enertia, depending on pitch is ~14.50"-14.75" diameter, while the Enertia Eco version is bigger at 16" diameter.
Simon can tune your 250 Pro to a 315+hp for 1/3 of that ;-)
