Ha! We actually were out today, a rare 80 degree Feb day in upstate SC. A bit windy, but great sun. Surface water temp about 54.

We’re in Michigan right now and enjoyed the heat wave this week. Everyone has said how cold this winter has been up here.

Our area has been lucky with the snowfall this year. Indian River 70 inches Gaylord ( 25 miles south of us ) 186 inches and Sault Ste Marie 143 inches .
But it has been colder than normal .
Thanks for bringing some of the warm Florida air back with you .

You mean like this Jack? Houghton in the UP got blasted last Wednesday and Thursday and Michigan Tech cancelled classes Wednesday at noon (very rare occurrence) and of course the Mighty Mac has had intermittent closures even today Feb 21st with falling Ice etc.
My only savior is I sure hope to goodness all this snow and ice coverage of the lakes to reduce evaporation is gonna raise the lake levels this spring. Fingers crossed

Yes. Im 25 miles south of the Bridge so I get all of the updates . We went o a wedding in the Sault Canada about 6 years ago .We were only supposed to be staying one night and got snowed in for 4 nights and 3 days . So we no longer go to the UP in the winter .You mean like this Jack?
