Playing the stereo & not draining the battery?

Any more thoughts on battery drain while playing stereo? I’ve started using a wireless Bluetooth speaker that uses the FM Radio app on my phone. I tried using a music app like iHeart but saw a big surge in data on my phone’s internet plan, so found the FM Radio app which doesn’t use data. You’ll need to attach earplugs to your phone since they act as the antenna to pull in the radio signal. I typically place the speaker on the dash in the helm, but it could be placed anywhere.

Yep, two batteries. We anchor for hours, playing tunes as well as having a squirrel cage type fan running the whole time.
