I’ve had one since we bought the boat. Haven’t had to use it on the boat, but it has come in handy otherwise.

I’ve used mine twice, wouldn’t feel safe without it

Low cost insurance ,and good for other things as well
I have had mine for a few years ,I have used it on my garden tractor in the winter.

Do you guys carry them to the boat each time or can they be stowed on the boat?

I have a carry on bag I keep mine in

In the boat.
In each vehicle.

To be honest since our current boat came with 2 batteries I haven't brought our Fat Max onboard. I have learned over the years that you have to use them somehow. We had one on our 1st boat years ago and we didn't have to use it over time. We kept it charged but the internal battery actually died from non use .....

This is why I have never bothered getting one. I am convinced this is what would probably happen with me.
