Prop Question

I’m curious about changing out my 3 blade prop to a 4 blade. Size is a 15.25x 15. I would like to hear opinions if it was worth the swap and what size 4 blade should I be looking for. I was told I would have better maneuvering in the slip. It’s a Honda 135.
Thanks in advance.

First things first, what are your full throttle rpm's and speed with the 3 blade? What is the recommended factory maximum rpm's the engine is rated at? That will help establish a baseline.

For comparison only, I have an S21, 2X 25" tubes, no lift strakes, VF115SHO Yamaha, 13.5 X 15 pitch Turning Point Hustler 4 blade aluminum, turning 5800 , max is 6300 and I bump off of 30 mph on GPS, this is with two people, full fuel, top tucked, and +/-150# of gear. Yes, the four blade propeller maneuvers very well when docking, turning and backing down. The prop has a lot of bite and jumps the boat on plane very easily. I'm thinking of stepping down to a 14 pitch for summer use, which should get me to 6000 rpm and carry a heavier load. My cruise is 23 mph at 4600rpm and this propeller is very reasonably priced at $125, check it out. Hope this helps
