There have been several posts made about speed, repair and prop replacement. www.bblades.com was formed by Brett and Brad. Brett was "the prop man" at Mercury Racing until he started bblades. Brett was tutored for years, by Dennis Cavanough, (considered to be the prop wizard of the preformance marine world) until Dennis met his demise falling down stairs at home.

bblades has been in business for something like 10 years, developed a successful business, made proprietary SS prop casting of their own design, distributes Mercury, other props and repairs damaged props. Their further contribution is labbing, finding speed, bow lift and recommendations. They also have a very supportive prop exchange program.

Yesterday, Brett and I were on the phone discussing the pontoon application. Presently, there is a Prop Hub bottle neck for the Yamaha 350. Meaning, the bblade proprietary or one of the Mercury props may work better than the Yamaha prop. However, because the 350 Yamaha has a large prop shaft, there is a problem with hub availability. A solution was discussed and Brett is all excited about finding another 4-6 MPH in our Bennington 2575.
