I have been disappointed with the stereo in the Bennington because it isn't very impressive. I finally messed with it yesterday, and when I turn the bass all the way up or down, it doesn't change. I looked under the helm, and the amp lights are on, but I was not sure where to look next. Any idea before it goes to the dealer? I really don't want to take it off the water yet, so I will probably wait another month until I am done for the season if it has to go in for repairs.

Have you looked and done a search in the upper right hand corner? I know there have been posts or threads that talked about sound quality issues, and recommendations to “do something” with the amp to get it all sounding better. Honestly, I do not remember any details as I don’t have a nicer stereo/amp set up from factory. If you cannot find anything, we have some great audiophiles in here that although they deck their boats out, likely can guide you with getting that amp and stereo working properly with one another before taking it in for off season storage.

Thank you! I looked and didn't see anything in the search. I also emailed the service manager to see if I could check anything and am waiting to hear back.

The dealer just sent this. If both amps are lit up but you are not seeing any change in the bass, I would guess the gain on the amp is probably turned down. There should be a gain and bass knob on the amp that could be turned up to get better bass.
