Radio deck upgrade

Greetings from the great republic of Texas! I have a question that hopefully somebody can answer for me. My factory radio deck is no longer working,I dont think it got wet but im not going to rule that out. I am now looking to replace the receiver with something fancy, I would like bluetooth, satelite radio and I have been seriously contemplating the idea of having a built in DVD player installed. Has anybody tried this or are there any stories you can share that would steer me in a certain direction. Thank you for your help.

Is it under warranty still? At least get a free one. Then ebay it or keep it. Uses for a car deck come up every now and then. Doesn't hurt to have one lying around.
