Radio won’t work

My radio on my 2009 Bennington pontoon won’t turn on. When I turn on the auxiliary switch, my fish finder will turn on but not the radio. So I don’t think it’s the fuse.

Have you checked the wiring harness connecting to the back of the radio? It may be loose and needs to be reseated, or it may be corroded and needs to be replaced.

Radio should have its own inline fuse..check it when you reseat the harness connection

My Sony radio had the fuse right in the back of the unit.

My Sony radio had the fuse right in the back of the unit.

My Sony had that fuse also. First thing my dealer said to check - it wasn’t that. I was still under warranty though so they just ended up replacing the radio for a new one. They didn’t even want the old one back.
