I took it as stating his specs. I'm at around 40 MPH with a 250 Verado so that sounds about right. Welcome, by the way. Post a picture while you're at it.

Rpms are about right, I would have thought it'd be propped with a 17 for that size motor, but I'm far from the smartest guy when it comes to prop size.

I agree, that's a big motor for a 15p, 16 or 17 would drop the RPMs to a more comfortable area IMO. I'd try a 16p, might be perfect?
