Taking delivery of my new 2350 RBR at the end of this month.  What products work best to clean and protect the vinyl seats and for the counter tops?  There are so many out there!

Congrats on the new boat. 303 products for the vinyl andif by counter tops you mean granite, then any commercial cleaner for them.

303 products are the ones Bennington recommends.  There is a post on this if you want to try the search engine

I usually have rags on hand or paper towels................ :p   We like to keep Clorox wipes on hand as well, they work well for those quick wipe ups of spills.

Other than that we use 303 products for those deep down cleanings and furniture treatments and playpen and bimini cover treatments once or twice a year.

Bennington used to recommend Fantastic for cleaning stains, and 303 for "sealing" or protecting from UV rays (keeps vinyl from aging and cracking).

I can't say my vinyl stains any less easier after applying the 303.  I would say it stains just as easily after applying the protectant.  But, since the sun is a top cause of damage, use the 303 protectant.  I know they make cleaners too, just not used any myself.

I use 303 on the vinyl, 50/50 water and vinegar on the panels, and Babe's boat bright water spot remover on the motor.

Overwhelming advice for the vinyl will be 303. I use the cleaner and protectant on the seats. And I also use 303 cleaner on the solid surface counter tops and helm. For the fiddle rails and other bright work, I use Boat Bling Hot Sauce.

Can you get this 303 stuff at an auto parts store? Or is it only at marine places?

Homedesto walfart amatawn many of the big box stores carry it.

For normal every day dirt, I go after it with a good car wash detergent and a mitt style wash glove or a large sponge.  Next up is Mean Green.

When stains get really tough, I bring out the Zep orange degreaser and the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.

Remind me how often to put that fabric guard on the cover?  I put it on my new cover last summer.

You put that fabric guard on your carpet too?
Absolutely.

Best thing I ever did .First time I went to the sand bar 3 seasons ago .puled up the anchor didn't notice the mud . I was P***ed . Got out splashed it with lake water. never knew it happened . I swear by it now .

Wow awesome.  After I clean mine really good this year I will def. put that on it then.  Just ordered 2 gallons of it from Amazon.  Will do the carpet, my bimini top (which I have off the boat becuase I had the zippers upgraded to the larger tooth size because I was having issues with them seperating), the boot and playpen cover again.  Thanks.

Oh of course....I have two of those now...I use one with the cleaner I use to do our bath tubs, etc. and the other is for the 303 to do the covers.  That is a must have.

I plan on doing my new carpet this year. Cover is under the lift canopy so not sure if I will do that. We'll see.
