As soon as I saw the picture, I said, " Oh no, site six." This is a free ramp. I have never used it and never will. Actually the ramp I use is not far from it. This video is rather benign in comparison to others I have seen. During the "season" the characters use this ramp. There have been numerous fights and problems. I have seen people back their rig and trailer down the ramp and end up in the lake. Alcohol and boating are a wonderful mix. People, not locals, per se, congregate there in the late afternoon to watch the show as people try to load after a day on the lake. People will hold up paper cards with numbers on them to rate your performance regarding loading your boat.  Lake Havasu has some great interactive shows.

Cheers, Steve

Launch Ramp Follies is popular up north too. Very fun stuff. It's not entirely harmless fun, but on occasion...

Ah...makes me so happy to be living on the lake!

Haha! We've watched a few and it's hilarious! Surprised we didn't see someone dragging their out drive/skeg up the ramp. Some of the drunk ones have gotten locked up at our marina......in Virginia.

Even though I was pretty good at loading up our jet boat, I HATED the public ramp at the river. People set up lawn chairs to watch the escapades. It wasn't quite as bad as this, but close. Man I love the dock at the lake ......

We have a bench by the ramp on our lake. We'll sit there sometimes and watch the show. Watched some on take off and drag the skeg on their new boat before I could yell out a warning. Brand new boat too.

I had that for years at our docks. Whenever they saw me coming up the channel they would line up just to watch me park.

My first spot was between the b and c dock. Space between the docks was about 27 foot. The 2575 with the big outboard is over 27 foot long. Never crashed but the Sphincter tightened on windy days.
