I have a R22 with a removable pylon (906298 I think).  Does anyone know what it's made out of (stainless/aluminum)? Thanks for the help

My ski pylon is stainless steel outer, but I couldn't tell you what the inside is composed of. All I know is that it is one heavy post that has zero flex while being used.

Yeah, I have to think it's steel inside. It is VERY strong.

Thanks, was hoping it's magnetic since it's at the bottom of a lake.  Cheers

My friends brand new driver was not magnetic either.  We were hitting golf balls of the top of the houseboat and his lubricated friend had it slip out of his hands after the tee shot. :(
