After going back & forth with the dealer about why two cupholders closest to the captain's chair are not wired for RGB lighting, they just referred to the schematic that shows they are not. The cupholders have the clear ring, which resembles the other lighted cupholders, but some reason Bennington chose not to wire/light them. There doesn't appear to be a logical reason for not wiring them, but when you pay so much for an RGB lighted cupholder package you figure all cupholders are covered.

Here is the phone number for Bennington 888 906 2628 .
If you call have your Hull ID
.Also this is their busy season so you may not get an answer right away.

Do you have a picture of the 2 that aren't lighted in relation to the helm? Maybe its to keep the drivers night vision intact when running at night?

Interesting. We just got our 2026 20SSR, with the RGB speakers and cup holders, and have noticed that the two cup holders on either side of the helm light up, but not the two cupholders to the left of the co-captain's seat. I have not yet checked with my dealer, or looked at the schematic. Anyone on here know if they usually light up? I thought it was odd that they didn't. They do have the clear strip around them like the two on the helm.

How about this one..when the dealer built the boat, they obviously forgot the click to add the lighted cupholders on the RGB package because I have every other light package with RGB...install now is over $1500.00 because all the cupholders need to be wired..at build was $453.00. URG...Any thoughts to add without the $1500.00 cost?

My boat did not have the lighted cupholders but had some of the other RGB lighting options. I wanted to add them and made the cost of parts part of the deal to purchase the boat. It's not an overly difficult install process if you're willing to take it on yourself. The most time consuming part is pulling the wiring harness to the various locations. Everything else is pretty much plug and play. If you're at all DIY proficient, it's probably a 2-4 hour job.

Totally agree with you and I've asked my dealer as well.
