I'm sure this has been discussed many times, but I haven't figured out how to search for topics.
I have a new sxs Tritoon with the upholstery upgrade and would like to apply a good upholstery and uv protection. There are a lot of warnings about things not to do. What protection products are really good?
Thank you
Allen

Your dealer has the best information and it’s free ( well it’s supposed to be). On our vinyl seats we use 303 UV Protection. Highly recommended by most boat owners and Bennington staff. And keep it covered when not in use.

There is a search icon in the upper right hand corner (looks like a magnifying glass). Search for Semtex cleaning instructions. There are newer updates last year to the cleaning and protections options for the “newer” seating since 2016-17 compared to traditional boat vinyl in earlier models.

I just bought a 2004 2575 and the upholstery looks brand new. I found this product in the boat. 1758815971904.png. If this was what they used I am going to continue with it. I was amazed at the condition of the seating. They probably kept it covered when not in use as well.

CAUTION! Vinyl upholstery commonly found on boats (at least older models) if VERY different than the "newer" Simtex (made by Spaulding) that Bennington uses. Neither the Spaulding nor the Bennington website offers any suggestions for a protectant, as the fabric is created with 2 different protectants built in. They are very specific about cleaners. I recall seeing one member received a response from Spaulding that 303 was acceptable, but then why not listed on either the Bennington or Spaulding website? And then, there is the warranty - using something that is NOT in writing could void the warranty. Definitely use the search! I have a few posts that provide the Spaulding info on cleaners.
