Had Bennington apply the sharkhide at the factory, boat got delivered at the dealer i picked the boat up last friday looks like there was something rubbed on the toon and someone there tried to fix it now it looks terrible how do i resolve this i talked to the dealer he said there is nothing i can do but gave me some trinkets to make it go away. any ideas would be appreciated.

If it's something you thought worthy of bringing to the dealers attention then don't let them wiggle out of it. Otherwise I would say contact B directly and ask for help. Is it possible the dealer applied the shark hide and not the factory. Check your build sheet to confirm it was ordered from the factory with shark hide.

Any photos? Sharkhide rubs off with contact so if that spot is now tarnished it could take some work to blend.

According to Sharkhide, touch ups are pretty easy to do. See the FAQ on their website. http://sharkhide.com/mpfaq.html

Also this from their website: "And one of the many great features of SHARKHIDE is when it is time to reapply, there's no need to strip or prep the original coat. Since SHARKHIDE's "self etching", you simply wipe a fresh coat over the old one, and the new coat will partially melt, and blend right info the first!"

Only bad thing is .........if the area in question is tarnished when you reapply the Sharkhide it will meld or self etch with the existing Sharkhide. But the area will still be tarnished. Ask me how I know.......
