I have the same issue, I moved my bumpers up, but one of them rubbed a spot like that on our port toon.
Other than stripping the Sharkhide, polishing/sanding entire toon and reapplying Sharkhide, you could try to “sand out” that area with possibly 2000 or 1000 grit to remove the oxidation, then reapply Sharkhide to that area. It will probably look different, but probably not as bad as the oxidation looks.
