Just purchased a new 2026 Bennington 26 MSL and would like to add a ski tow bar - Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated

I would start with the Bennington dealer, although they will not be the cheapest, they usually have experience in proper installation. I worry about the safety risk of improper installation.

For ease of installation AND for something that is all purpose rated for skiiing and tubing, I strongly second the Turbo Swing. However, if you specifically want a bar back there, I would make sure that whatever you get is a) rated for skiing AND tubing (big difference), and b) installed to the standard needed to support both.

Most ski bars are only rated for the pull of a skier, and not tubing. Also, quality installation to support the force of tubing is worthwhile. If adding one, mighty as well insure its safe and durable for all water sports activities IMHO. Costs a little more, but worthwhile in the long run.

Will the swing fit on a Merq 425. The Swing web site only states up to a 300??

Let us know what you find out . I dont recall motor size ever being an issue on a turbo swing .

The details I could find suggested the 300 to 350 adds approximately 2.5 to 3" to the front to back measurement. Pictures I have
